How did I get here?
I spent over 20 years working for the federal government in a job that just wasn't well suited for me. So - I summoned the courage to quit my job, and went back to school full-time. I graduated (with honors) in 2005, with a BS in graphic design, and have since been working as a freelance consultant building my own digital arts business. Over the past 2 years, I have been blessed with four grandbabies, and a great-niece. I took up photography as a hobby, wanting to take full advantage of my built-in models. However, my hobby quickly grew into a passion. Not only have I learned that being a grandma is the best thing in the world, I have also discovered that capturing special moments, raw emotion, and tidbits of personality in an image - well, that is what feeds my soul!
